The end of one story and the beginning of another

ree

In less than a week, we are moving to our off-grid oasis and to avoid any unnecessary anxiety I have been forgoing thinking too much about what lies ahead. I've been aiming to allow only the thoughts which were exciting, and lean away from the ones that were scary.

Any unknowns can definitely be intimidating but I've learned one thing in my journey that helps me big time... 90% of what we worry about doesn't come true. Then add in how much an overactive mind can think and that's a lot of time spent worrying about things that won't affect us.

So should we just stick our heads in the sand? Well not really, but we can rest in the idea that when true needs arise, when we are in a calm state, usually we know a good solution. It's when we are in a frantic state and thinking of the worst or too many things that we lose sight of the realness of our situation and the ease of a simplistic resolution.

So in reflecting on this journey, the Inness family is about to embark on, I find it's empowering to check into my reflections and see I am leaning away from fears, acknowledging that there are things I need to prepare along the way and when the time is right, we will get to them... Or they will find a way to fix themselves. The latter is the most fun to witness. The power of allowing is my new thrill.

This move is coming along at a slow and enjoyable pace and the way I am flowing around this time is helping me see the growth accomplished along the way. What used to be chaotic, frantic, and full of anxiety is now a blissful, flowing, and more uniting experience.

It's been a bit of a windy road to get to this point and just a few months ago I would have thought anyone was crazy if they suggested I was going to find my struggles finally come together and all that I learned and practiced will come into place.

But here we are, ready to embark anew on the possibilities our heart desire, and with the right intention, focus, and loving signs from the universe, everything is working out for us. The road still isn't over yet, and I'm sure it will hold new lessons for us to grow, but one way or another, even when things seem crazy, everything is always working out for us.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I say it many times a day and will keep saying it with full love in my heart.

Thank you.
